The big picture
In a rush? Here are the main takeaways from this discussion.
Cold applying with no networking? Expect sending at least 100 or more applications before you see results.
After trail and error, youβll develop an intuition to send good cold messages.
The best way to start a cold message is to mention common interests.
When doing coffee chats, begin with a casual approach, then feel the vibes. If the chat is going well, move onto pitching your skills.
Donβt get hung up if people ghost you, itβs part of the game, just move onto the next person.
There are 2 types of people, type 1 want you to prove yourself before asking for the job, type 2 just jump straight to the point.
Your main goal of networking shouldnβt be to find a job, it should be finding people you vibe with.
If you have no work experience, start creating projects, doing hackathons, and attending case competitions.
Thatβs all for today. If you enjoyed this post, share it with a friend!
If they subscribe, Iβll send you a coffee chat guide!
