TOPIC
New email feature, and early access expansion

Hey folks, quick one today.

I was planning on today off. Holidays, family time, all that. But then I realized I never actually announced a break, so here we are with a quick update instead.

I did step away from heavy development the past few days to recharge and catch up with people. But I didn't ignore SayMail completely.

Gmail integration is now live

While waiting for test results to come in, I knocked out a feature I've been wanting to add: email integration.

Here's the problem with the current workflow.

Once SayMail generates your email, you have to manually copy the subject line, copy the body, open Gmail, paste everything, and then send.

It takes maybe 10 seconds, not a big deal, but it’s friction.

So I spent about 2-3 hours wiring up Gmail integration. Now you can push drafts directly from SayMail to your inbox. No more copy-pasting.

One caveat: This only works for Gmail users right now. I don't have plans to expand to Yahoo or other providers but might later on.

What’s next: Expanding early access

Right now, SayMail is limited to about 5-10 test accounts. That's been useful for catching bugs and getting initial feedback, but it's time to expand.

My next focus is scaling capacity to 20 up to 50 users.

How the next round will work

In next week's email, I'll officially open the beta with a direct signup link. No survey required upfront this time.

Here's the new flow:

sign up β†’ watch a quick 5-minute walkthrough video β†’ start networking.

The survey comes after you've created your first outreach message. That way, you're giving feedback based on actual experience instead of expectations.

The limit is 50 accounts. Once that's hit, you'll see a waitlist page instead.

What I’m looking for feedback on

Two things specifically:

  1. Is the email generation effective? Does the output feel like something you'd actually send?

  2. How important is contact discovery? I would love to add a way to discover WHO to contact. But I want to know if that's something you actually need.

This isn't the official announcement, but if you're reading this... consider it your head start.

  • βœ… completely free

  • βœ… get a say to features built

  • βœ… land your land opportunity from a cold email

No survey. Just sign up, watch the walkthrough, and start creating outreach messages.

That’s all for today. If you enjoyed this post, share it with a friend!

If they subscribe, I’ll send you my personal AI coding doc!

See you next Tuesday 🀝
