TOPIC
The Leap Sprint is evolving (and why I'm nervous about this email)

I need to be honest with you.

It’s been 2 years since I started this newsletter. Since then, about 90% of the topics I’ve written were about networking, or early career advice.

And while I'm proud of what we've built together (5,000+ of you!), I've realized something:

I’m bored

And if I'm bored, you might be too.

Here's the truth: I got into product management to BUILD things. To solve problems. To create products that actually help people.

But I've been writing the same networking frameworks on repeat.

Outside of this newsletter, I have a whole tech career and honestly? I want to start talking more about that.

So I'm making a change.

Starting next week, this newsletter is becoming something different; a real-time journal of what it's like to:

  • Build an AI networking app from scratch (including all the mistakes and pivots)

  • Navigate a PM/tech career in your 20s (promotions, switching jobs, saying no to things)

  • Learn by doing instead of just talking about it

Think of it as "building in public" meets "career diary." Less polished advice, more raw lessons from the arena.

If that sounds interesting, stick around.

If not, no hard feelings. You can unsub below at any time.

To be clear though! Networking topics aren’t disappearing. They just won’t be the main spotlight anymore.

For future articles, you can expect:

  • Progress updates on my AI app (wins, failures, user feedback)

  • Career lessons I'm learning in real-time as a PM

  • Decisions I'm wrestling with (and how I'm thinking through them)

First issue drops Tuesday.

It's about the app idea I’ve been obsessing over. No spoilers yet, but I’m aiming to get job seekers into direct contact with decision makers, without needing resumes.

The big picture

Again, the networking advice isn’t disappearing, I have a whole library of articles from the past 2 years filled with them.

Feel free to browse through on the main site.

At this point, I’ve covered almost everything.

Otherwise, you can reach out to me anytime using the resources in the P.S section.

That’s all for today. If you enjoyed this post, share it with a friend!

If they subscribe, I’ll send you a interview guide!

See you next Tuesday 🤝
