Week 1: Transforming your LinkedIn

Alright! It’s officially Week 1 of Inbox to Offer: The 4 email series where I document building an all-in-one PDF guide to get you hired in 3 months or less.

This week I started the initial draft, and so far, smooth sailing.

Here’s an early look at the table of contents.

As you can see, I have the first 2 sections planned out:

  1. “Networking changed my life, and it can change yours too”

  2. “Turning your LinkedIn and Resume into a sales page”

Section 1 is 2 pages long and basically serves as an intro.

If you know who I am, you can skip that part.

Section 2 is a complete revamp on your LinkedIn and Resume.

LinkedIn revamp

This section took up more pages than I thought.

It’s around 8.

I don’t go over every single thing though, because let’s be honest, no one will care who you’re following:

Some section just don’t matter as much

The LinkedIn Revamp heavily focuses on your top section. Places like your:

  • Banner

  • Headline

  • About Section

Resume revamp

This section is shorter, only 2 pages long.

I might even edit it down to 1 page later on.

There’s not a lot I need to go over, and you’re probably familiar with resume editing anyways.

But I do have a few key tricks to really make your resume count.

Sneak peak at the content

Like I mentioned in the last email, this playbook is 100% practical instructions, no theory.

So, the content looks like this:

Very straight to the point steps for you to follow and replicate, with a lot of images too.

Again, the goal isn’t to teach you WHY networking is important, you already know that.

The goal is to give you a complete A - Z plan to actually get results.

Including mini videos

One last thing. Did you notice my face at the bottom left of that image from earlier?

Recorded this at 10 PM, ignore the pitch black background. 💀

Throughout the guide, I’ll be linking short 5 min or less videos at the end of each section.

These videos will be to provide additional context to their respective sections.

Just thought it’d be a nice way to make the playbook easier to follow.

Closing notes

As of now, progress is going well.

I’m writing the playbook on a Google Docs, but I’ll clean it up and export to a PDF once it’s done.

Next week, I’ll be diving into the content for cold emailing and honestly, it’s going to be my favourite part of the whole series.

As I’ve said before time and time again:

One right cold email is all you need to win big.

In that section, I’ll give you the exact breakdown of my system for finding contacts, and how to email them.
