Week 2: Mastering cold emails

It’s Week 2 of Inbox to Offer: The 4 email series where I document building an all-in-one PDF guide to get you hired in 3 months or less.
This was a tough week.
Not because I struggled with the guide, but because I was battling a cold.
Came down with something last Wednesday, and I’m still sniffling today.
So I was rotting on my bed for longer than I’d like.
But!… We made progress on the playbook.
Recap of last week
Last week, we kicked off Week 1 with the LinkedIn + Resume revamp sections.
Those parts are pretty much done.
I also introduced videos that will be spread out across the guide:

These videos will be under 5 minutes and serve as mini recaps of each section and provide additional context.
For example, a video under the LinkedIn Revamp section will discuss the most important parts of your profile and why we make certain changes.
Lastly, clicking on a video link will bring you to a page that looks likes this:

You’ll get topic timestamps, and a transcript!
What I worked on this week
This week, I dove into cold emailing.
It’s the next section after LinkedIn + Resumes, and will give you a detailed tutorial on writing actual good emails.

This part is arguably the most important, because all you need is 1 right response to land your next job.
I’m really not kidding when I say that.
A success case like this literally happened to one of my followers 2 weeks ago. You can read about it here.
But long story short, she landed a co-op in just 3 days using my cold email strat.
In the Cold Email section of the playbook, I wrote out the framework you need to do in order to see similar results.
Finding people to contact
This part will have you create your ideal contact list, and walk you through how you should be finding people to message
Strategies for finding emails
This part will uncover ways to find people’s emails, even if they’re privately listed on LinkedIn
How to write a good email
This part will have you follow along as we create a cold email from scratch
